Does the keto diet allow you to eat dates?

The ketogenic diet is moderate in protein and high in fat. The key component is the low carbohydrate intake. Therefore, consuming highly nutritious foods is important. Dates are foods that are high in carbohydrates. So it should not be consumed in excess while following a keto diet.
