Are dates and prunes the same thing?

No – they are similar, but not the same! Dates are grown on date palm trees, while prunes are dried plums. Prunes are good sources of Vitamin K, a nutrient that aids in blood clotting. While dates contain less vitamin K, it aids in both male and female reproductive health.
