Nimeshika, a physician by profession, attended a 6-year medical program in India. After she graduated, she worked in various healthcare settings. Her purpose is to have a better understanding of public and private healthcare systems in the country. She worked there under ER, Trauma, Orthopedics, Womens’ Health Clinics, and Neurology. Following this, she entered a 10-month journalism course then joined TheNewsMinute.com, a digital media company in Bangalore, India as a health reporter to use her medical knowledge differently. She is also a mental health advocate and does a lot of volunteer work to help increase awareness about it.
