Josie is a graduate student studying nutritional epidemiology at the University of Michigan. She is fascinated by the way food and nutrition affect the body and mind, and she is passionate about helping information about this become more widespread. She plans to pursue a PhD in nutritional epidemiology in 2022 and to focus her research on understanding the biochemical mechanisms that regulate our responses to food and nutrients. In her free time, Josie loves to teach and practice yoga, as well as create new recipes in the kitchen.
