Date Stuffed with Herby Cheese
This is a finger-licking snack, which would express an opinion without making me feel stressed. They hit the mark perfectly. They’re simple, yet they’re jam-packed with sweet and savory flavors. This dish is the first to be empty, so I know this is indeed a success! Sweet dates and savory herby soft cheese strike the ideal balance in these bites.
- 1 cup dates
- Herby cheese such as French Roule
- Leave the edges intact and cut a lengthwise incision along the middle of each date but not through the bottom. Cut a slit in each date with a sharp knife, then extract the stones.
- Fill 1 tsp of herby cheese into the dates and serve them on the platter.
